A Simple Las Vegas Wedding
Las Vegas in September is often pretty hot, but maybe the weather god decided to turn the heat off slightly for the day, as this day was much cooler than usual. The weather forecast had predicted some rain about a week before the wedding, but there was not a single cloud. So all in all, it was a good day to get married. The couple decided to get married at the church where they met. However, one very slight obstacle was that this church never held a wedding ceremony before, so the couple had to put in a lot of work to create a venue where more couples can tie the knot in the future. Within three months since the wedding there has been two more weddings, so the couple has done well.

Getting Ready

First Look
I usually recommend the first look and a bit of couple portraiture, but they wanted a more simple set up. The first look was something they wanted to do, but they said the engagement photos are enough for the couple photos, so made this session nice and simple.

The Ceremony
The Ceremony was a simple church wedding service but featured two of the most adorable babies, one as a ring bearer and one as a flower girl.

Reception Details
The floral decorations through out the wedding were fantastic, the overall theme had an amazing appearance and the colour theme matched well.

Cake Cutting
Some beautiful light came through right around this time and I managed to get some dreamy shots with the couple and them joking around with cake.

This wedding was beautiful in so many ways. Firstly the wedding being on a not so hot, pretty warm still, but a manageable September day meant more people were able to come and enjoy. Secondly, after their engagement session, the couple had a complete trust in me which allowed me to give them some advice here and there based on my photographic expertise. This made my job on the day much more enjoyable and I wanted to put a lot more effort than I honestly could. All the photographs are now delivered and they are hoping to get the albums and highlight videos done fairly soon.
