There’s nothing conventional about elopement. Elopement is still quite new in the wedding industry and for that reason, there are not much information online compared to traditional weddings. So that information gathering alone could be quite challenging.
You had to give up a few things for a fuller experience and a once-in-a-lifetime day with your partner. In return, you said goodbye to the headache of deciding whom to invite—getting nervous and worrying about walking down the aisle full of people and being unable to have alone time with your partner on your wedding day.
Now, let’s get you started planning for a day that is truly you two.

It’s all about the Experience
This timeline was for an elopement couple in April 2023 in Yosemite National Park, California. The couple chose 8-hour package with a highlight video.
3:00 pm – 4:30 pm Wedding Dress, Details & Getting Ready
4:30 pm – 5:30 pm The First Look
5:30 pm – 6:00 pm Drive to the parking lot of Elopement Spot
6:00 pm – 6:30 pm Walk to our Elopement Spot
6:30 pm – 7:45 pm Elopement
7:22 pm Sunset
7:45 pm – 8:15 pm Walk back to our car
8:15 pm – 8:45 pm Drive down to the Valley
8:45 pm – 10:00 pm Dinner time

I was fortunate to experience many different cultures growing up in the UK with Korean heritage. I’ve been to almost every country in Europe and visited Asia every summer. I had so much fun and learned so much from meeting and observing people from all walks of life.
So I would hate to limit where you could go to elope. You love my work, and you want me as your photographer on your wedding day; the travel fee should not limit you to where you could elope.

Imagine holding each other’s hand and saying “I do” surrounded by a stunning landscape of Dolomites, Italy, or Giraffes in Nairobi, Kenya. Wherever you decide to go, my rate will be the same as the travel rate is all included. Let me know if you see something in a travel magazine like Condé Nast or National Geographic Travel. I will help you plan it. The great thing about International Wedding & Elopement is that you could turn it into a honeymoon right after or go somewhere close by. For example, elope in Iceland and go to Greek Island to enjoy the sun.

Before photographing elopements, I photographed engagement sessions in nature as well as the wedding for a lot of my couples. This way, the couple was able to have their moments during their adventure elopement like engagement session and enjoy the wedding day with friends and family.
